Nonnie Sue Davis, 81, died Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Southhampton Rehab. She was born in Tremont, Ms. and was formerly of Hampton Cove, Al.

She had been a math teacher at Huntsville High School. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, November 8, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Al. with Pastor Terrell Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Ms. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are one son – Charles Davis (Cookie) Hampton Cove, Al. ; four grandchildren– Glenn Fuell, Columbia, SC, Brooke, Erika and Paige Davis, all of Hampton Cove, Al.; one sister – Elowese Humphres, Red Bay, Al. and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jefferson Dow Davis; her parents, Hoy Davis and Eddy Ledbetter Davis and two brothers, Laurece Davis and Vivian "V.W." Davis. Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Saturday, November 8, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al.
