She is survived by her husband Roger Nix, Daughter Amanda Schuknecht (Chris) three brothers David Dueitt, Bobby Dueitt, Danny Dueitt. Granddaughters Morgan Ponder, Mary, and Rochelle, Grandson Cody Mayo, Great-grandchildren Carson Mayo, Emery, Hadleigh, Noah, Leo.

I was Sheila's primary care physician for over 5 years, and she fought bravely against at least 3 different cancers during this time. Sheila dropped out and got married before graduation from Grissom, but I will always consider a member of the class of 1974.
