Bob committed suicide when we were either in the 8th or 9th grades. We were classmates at Randolph Jr. High before going to Grissom. Bob was an excellent pianist and I took from his teacher for a short time before he took a university teaching position.
Bob appears in our Freshman and Sophmore annuals so it was probably early in our Sophmore year that he perished. That would put his year of passing around 1971. I will see if I can find some matching information. Bob is not the only one of our lost classmates to have taken his own life. That fate befell others as well but I've chosen to de-emphasize those cases out of deference to any family members that might eventually see these posts. Thanks for the info Bill.
