In Loving Memory of my beloved Brother, David T. McMahan, Grissom High School, Class of 1974 was killed in a tragic automobile accident on May 21, 1978 at the young age of 22. The funeral was held at Laughlin Funeral Home in Huntsville on May 23, 1978 at 10:00AM.
David Terrell McMahan was born on 19 March 1956, and was taken from us on 21 May 1978, just a few years after leaving High School (at the age of 22). As related by his brother Scott, David died in a single car accident late at night. After High school, David went and studied in Montana University, then returned to Huntsville after a few years to resume studying at UAH (working and studying part time). He was not married at the time of his death and had no serious relationships. Obviously, no children either. He was the eldest of four brothers, Scott Denton (Grissom Class of 1976) was the second, followed by Robert Allen, and Dana Lee. His father, Denton O'Dell, passed away in 2006 and his mother, Esther Lou Bollinger, followed him in 2008. I have not been able to locate an obituary for David.
