Patricia Wood Whited Felder, age 67, of Toney, AL, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2023, surrounded by family after a very courageous four year-long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Patti was born in East Orange, NJ and moved to Arab, AL where she grew up. Her family moved to Huntsville, AL just before her senior year in high school and she graduated from Grissom High School.

Patti was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother "YaYa", and a fun-loving friend. She led a joyful and happy life and had recently retired. She was a devout Christian and a long-time member of The Harbour Church in Meridianville, AL. Patti never missed an opportunity to stop and talk to babies and little children either at church or while out shopping, never meeting a stranger. She loved her friends and co-workers like family and was always very thoughtful and giving to those in her life. Sweet, loving, and kind-hearted are some of the words to describe Patti. She loved life and always had a big smile on her face.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Gene and Bonnie Wood, brothers, Ed "Bud" Wood and Mark "Mick" Wood.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Felder; sons, Jeremy Whited (Debra) and Chris Whited (Sonya); grandsons, Dalton and Nic Whited; sister, Wanda Uptain (Andy); and nephews, Matthew Uptain and Noah Wood.

While we mourn the loss of Patti, we also celebrate her life. The way she touched each of our lives, either as family or friend, will always be with us.
