Tony's death hit me and I think all of us pretty hard. He was one crazy dude. The day of the accident a bunch of us went to Sheep's Bridge only to find out the the river was flooding from the summer rains. As we were standing there looking at the flood all of a sudden Tony takes off and does a cannonball out into the muddy water. I'll never forget him hiding in the rocks like Arnold in Predator all covered in that thick red mud. His prescence was only made known to us when he couldn't keep from smiling and we saw those big pearly whites. After all these years I still miss you buddy!!

This one still hurts. This was my first experience with the death of somebody close. I remember being in middle school and Tony being allowed to bring one or two friends to Taco Time for lunch. He invited me a time or two even though I was brand new to the area. A crazy fun lovin guy. I remember one time he and I "borrowed" that old truck of his without his dad knowing. We were maybe 14, 15 tops. We were kings of the road for maybe 10 minutes and then we sweated bullets for 24 hours afraid "Sheriff Woody" would find out. I think he called that truck "Bewford". Obviously I have no idea how it's spelled. Does anyone remember the name of his truck?

Tony was such a flirt and tease!! Rebecca Gubler and I had tons of fun with him over at Taco Time where she and I worked from age 16 on. He would come in and tease the heck out of us, but of course we acted bugged and bothered, like we hated it; (secretly) of course we loved the attention!!! He was a great guy w/ a huge larger than life personality!

Tony’s death was a big one for me. I will never for get the day I was working on the Hawkins home with my dad (laying brick) when Jeff pulled up on his tractor. I got of the scaffolding and went down to the obviously upset Jeff. He told me of Tony’s death and I was in shock! Until that time I had never contemplated death, or that it was even possible. I had known Tony all my life, had taken him for granted, and now he was gone. I was so impressed at how his dad took Tony’s death as an opportunity to teach all of us some of the facts of life, and to encourage us to be careful and safe. Tony and I were never great friends but he was a lot of fun to be around, he was full of life. I will never be able to smell polo cologne and not think of Tony. Jeff, that was the name of his truck, you nailed it. (Don’t know the spelling either)…Ryan

This was my first funeral of a friend, and I don't do funerals even still---I have gone to 3, and Tony is one of them. I will never forget him, he was a fun guy with so much happiness to share! I will always remember the fun times and treasure them. I remember a water fight that he just let me have it!! I still remember the day I heard about the accident, it was devastating and to this day I remember how I felt--so sad. I miss you Tony. All the best to his friends and loved ones, we will all see him again one day. :)

Hey guys, the spelling doesn't really matter on that old truck.Buford was the cause of a lot of great memories with Tony. I can't remember who was with us after the parade, but Woody told us to take the truck right home and we spent a couple of hours driving around town.I think the battery was dead because we had to push the dang thing to start it.He was a good friend and great cousin,I will always cherish my memories of him.
Trevor.

that summer was something else. Tony Dale and I spent alot time together that summer. Your right Jeff It does still hurt. Tony was so powerfull. His death changed the course of my life. It's what brought me to the church.the day after all the classmates that came to my house to comfort me that was special. It helped alot. Tony's death ive struggled with it for 15 years my heart and soul has been tormented by it. It's been hard to forgive myself and to realize that it was an accident. My time in Utah state prison locked up 23 hours a day i had alot of time to work it out. Tony I LOVE YOU BRO I KNOW YOU ARE WITH US ALWAYS YOUR SPIRIT YOUR FRIENDSHIP IMPACTED OUR WHOLE CLASS FOREVER I LOVE YOU BROTHER.
