Comments:

I went on a mission to Washington DC. I loved the experience. I met my husband in the MTC. He served in Oklahoma. After giving me a blessing in the MTC, He knew I was the one, but was wise enough not to say anything to me:) We wrote back and forth about once a month as good friends. When he got home his dad suggested we go for a walk before I make the 4 hr. drive back to Hurricane. This was the Sunday of his homecoming. And, long story short; before the walk was over he'd asked me to marry him...And I'd said yes, we have not slowed down ever since. I have been incredibly blessed with 7 wonderful children. All of them amaze me. I have been married since 1994. And we've lived in Orem for 12years. I go back and visit my family in Hurricane several times a year. And my kids think Orem is a "small town," so you can imagine what they say about Hurricane. They love hearing all about my growing up and going to visit the places I talk about. They keep a year book handy and think it is pretty funny to read what you guys wrote back in the day. I'm happily married and love being a mom; most days. I 'm fortunate to be able to stay at home full time and raise my children.

School Story:

When I'm put on the spot I can't think of anything. But I am forever telling my kids of different funny things that happened ya know "life's lessons" Don't drink a 2 liter soda to fast or it'll make you throw up, like that year at 'H day' class competitions. And when you have an 80's day at Elementary as my kids most recently have thanks to all of you who, through the year books, proved that mom really does know everything, when I had to prove to my kids that their hair was not exaggerated and that it really was okay to fold their pants into a pleat and then roll it. The biggest 'life lesson' I'm most grateful I get to teach my kids from memory lane, and as they go thru life, is that it's okay to just be friends with everyone, I felt that from going through school all those years with you guys. Thanks for all of the friendships that were so freely given.
