I would like to add a brief memory about Melissa Quinn. She was in one of my classes, to which I cannot remember which one it was. I remember walking up to her thinking she is a pretty girl, and wanted to talk to her where others did not. She couldn't understand why people wouldn't talk to her, and I told her that I wish people would avoid talking to me VS. bullying me. She said that people only bully other people because they are insecure people and must get rough treatment at home. She was moving out of our school a few days later when I talked to her, but I will never forget her, brief as it were, and what she told me. She's still that pretty girl, in heaven looking down at me from time to time saying those words to me, "feel sorry for them Jason, don't be mad, they had it rough at home." Those words help a lot more than anyone could imagine. That is my memory of Melissa Quinn.
