Kerry Lee Bouwens
February 8, 1958 - February 25, 2020

His wife Debbie Walden Bouwens is also an LC76 classmate and lives with her daughter in Colorado. Kerry passed away from cancer in 2020 and was laid to rest at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery.

Kerry wrote this on classmates.com about 16 years ago:

To my oldest friends, try and believe this: 8 years in the Military (US Army as a cop{MP}, 5 years in California as a Deputy Sheriff in Orange County, and 23 Years in Colorado as a Deputy Sheriff! Still married to Debbie and we have a 22 (almost 23 year old) Daughter who got married last May. Imagine this, I currently run a shift at a Jail that houses around 2 thousand people. 

Debbie recently shared with another classmate that she and Kerry traveled a lot while Kerry was in the Army - Alabama, Texas, Colorado, and Hawaii, but they fell in love with Colorado. They have one daughter Tiffany, who is now 37. Debbie and Kerry were married for 44 years and together for 47.
