In Memory

Terry Coraggio

Terry L. Coraggio
10/25/58- 04/21/2025

Terry was born October 25, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN. She sadly passed away April 21, 2025 after residing in Greenfield IN. Terry's death was proceeded by her father Michael Coraggio. She is survived by her mother Rosemary (Donovan) Coraggio, her brothers: Christopher, Robert, Paul (Ginger), Peter, and Steven. She also leaves behind 7 nieces and nephews and 8 great nieces and nephews.

Terry grew up attending St. Lawrence GS, Lawrence Central HS, and Purdue University. She was employed by Xerox Corporation and enjoyed the late hours of her position, as it offered some solitude. She later joined Eli Lilly Corporation working at the Indianapolis and Greenfield plants. She advanced to Quality Control and retired after decades working third shift.

Terry had a huge heart for animals, big and small. Her compassion led her to rescue and adopt dogs and horses over the years. She was a member of the Mastiff Club of America with her beloved dog, Angel. She and Angel spent time at nursing homes visiting the elderly and attending local dog-friendly places and events- bringing some excitement and comfort to those they would meet. Terry also enjoyed spending time with her family at holiday gatherings, outdoor festivals, concerts, county fairs, circuses, firework shows, craft shows, and finding the best deals.

Terry was a very hard-working, independent, and somewhat private person. She loved the outdoors and working on her property. She was proud of her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens, and loved to share them with neighbors and family.

Terry will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her, and her family's hope is that everyone who continues to reflect on those memories, will find comfort in having known her spirit.

Details of a gathering in her honor will be announced on Legacy.com at later date.

This is sad news, once again!  Terry was a great friend at Purdue, as was Mark Overstreet!  So sorry to hear of her passing.  Her brother, Rob, helped us finish out house on Geist in 1987-1988,  Long story, there, but then learned that Terry was his sister.  I extend condolences to her family and those who remained close to her through the years.  She was a smart and gentle person with the cutest smile.  So sad!  Way too soon, of course.  RIP Terry!
