David 'Dave' Filbey

David Lee Filbey, 47, Mooresville, died March 1, 2006, as the result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Mooresville.
The son of Edgar E Filbey, Indianapolis, and the late Lola Mary (McKinley) Filbey, he was born April 8, 1958, in New York, N.Y. His wife, Sarah E (Ribley) Filbey, whom he married June 15, 1958, survives in Mooresville.
Filbey was a wage and hour assistant for the United States Department of Labor for 15 years. Previously, he was a purchasing clerk for Westview Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was a member of Plainfield Bible Church and a former member of Eagle Creek Grace Brethern Church in Indianapolis.
He received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington in general studies and his masters degree from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs, IUPUI.
Other survivors include stepmother, Doris Miller Woodruff-Filbey, Indianapolis; three daughters, Sarah Emily, Hannah C, and Olivia L. Filbey, all of Mooresville; brother, J. Kevin Filbey, Fairfax, Va., and sister, Susan K. Rossi, Santa Clara, Calif.
The service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Plainfield Bible Church, 752 North Dan Jones Road, in Plainfield. Pastors Kevin Kottke and Paul Woodruff will officiate. Burial will be in White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Carlisle and Son Funeral Chapel in Mooresville.
