59. It is with a grieving heart we announce that Colleen passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2017. Colleen was a loving, generous, humorous, gregarious woman whose absence will be felt by many.

She graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Spanish and attended law school at Indiana University. For over 36 years she worked in the accounting field and office management, with her most recent employment at Lumident, Inc., where she was the finance manager. Colleen loved music, gardening, reading, fishing and most certainly her cats, family & friends.

She is survived by her sisters Kathleen Schuller Kanipe, Karen Kanipe, brother Keith Kanipe (Susan), her beloved niece & nephews, Brelyn, Jake & Drew. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Patricia, and the love of her life and sole mate John Nimmo.

Celebration of Life will be held on August 19, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 10967 Preservation Point, Fishers, Indiana 46037.
