April 9, 1958 - March 16, 1981

A 22-year-old Indianapolis man--a former Muncie resident--died early Monday morning in Indianapolis Community Hospital less than an hour after he drove his car into the rear of a semitrailer truck in the 3600 block of North Shadeland Avenue.

Timothy M. Marvin, 7913 E. 50th St., died about 1:45 a.m. A native of Muncie, Mr. Marvin moved to Danville, Ill., and later to Indianapolis with his parents, Rev. William and (Helen) Kiser Marvin, who survive. He graduated in 1976 from Lawrence Central High School and recently he was on active duty with the National Guard.

Other survivors include two brothers, Richard and John Philip Marvin, both of Indianapolis; and his grandparents, Mrs. Flora Kiser and Mike Marvin, both of Muncie.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Meeks Mortuary. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory. Friends may call at the mortuary 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and prior to services Thursday.
