Richard McClellan

Richard K. McClellan, Jr. 50, Indianapolis, died July 24, 2007. He was born June 3, 1957 in Indianapolis to Richard McClellan, Sr. and Wanda (Higdon) McClellan. Richard was a 1976 graduate of Lawrence Central High School and I.U.P.U.I. He had formerly been employed at Finish Master, and had also been a volunteer E.M.T. with the City of Lawrence. Richard loved aviation, and had attended the A.T.A. Airframe Mechanic School. He married Patricia (White) McClellan on June 7, 1986, and she survives. Also surviving are three children, Aaron McClellan, Cynthia Reinbold, and James McClellan (Amy); a grandson, Cameron Reinbold; a sister, Julia Pflieder (Richard); an aunt, Sylvia McClellan; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael McClellan. Services will be held on Friday, July 27 at 11:00 AM at Legacy Funeral Alternatives, with Deacon Claude Reading officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
