PIERCEFIELD, DAVID STANLEY, age 49 a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Saturday, July 14, 2007 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center due to Heart Failure. Mr. Piercefield was born June 1, 1958 in Columbus, Indiana to Julian Gene and Joan Elizabeth (Hockersmith) Piercefield. David was a resident of Auburndale for the past 7 years coming from Winter Springs, Florida. He was a Member of the First Baptist Church of Polk City. David is survived by his loving family, wife of 7 years, Becky Stricklen-Piercefield of Auburndale, FL; 1 son, Stephen Piercefield of Lakeland, FL; 2 daughters, Jacquelyn Piercefield of Winter Springs, FL, Lauren Piercefield of Winter Springs, FL; 2 step sons, Eric Stricklen of Auburndale, FL, Ty Stricklen of Auburndale, FL; parents, Julian & Joan Piercefield of Lakeland, FL. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in David's name to the First Baptist Church of Polk City (Building Fund), 408 Arbor Vitae Lane, Polk City, Florida 33868. Funeral services will be held 10AM Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Polk City, with interment to follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery-Lakeland. Visitation will be held Monday, July 16, 2007 from 6-8PM at the Kersey Funeral Home, 108 East Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale.
