Welcome to the Class of IHS 1969

It was a "mini-reunion" and...many showed up!  We had over 50 classmates and spouses attend the Saturday event and it was another fun time at the Woodruffs'.  We can't thank Roger and Jody enough for everything they do for us. It was a bit hot but that is Iowa weather as you never know what you are going to get in September.  We had several attend from out of state and a few first timers.  We enjoyed the fun activity put together by Marjorie Davis. It was a great way to get to know more about each other.

THANK YOU to everyone that bought snacks and desserts to enjoy and to Jim and Mary Ford-Krier for the hot dogs and buns.  

Saturday attendees overwhelmingly voted to do this on an annual basis just like we did this year...on a Saturday afternoon and into early evening.  That is as long as Roger and Jody will have us.   As we all know...we are maturing and have lost classmates recently.  We never know what the next day brings.  At this time of life we need all the fun and support we can get!  

Yes...THE CLASS OF 69 IS CONSIDERED MIGHTLY FINE!

The Sunday event, a joint effort by both the Class of '69 and '70 at McCord Park, had  fewer in attendance but was equally enjoyable.

Please keep me updated with changes in email or any info about fellow classmates.  I know some haven't been getting the updates and emails, I will try to get that fixed.  Maybe check your Spam folder???  If you would ask other classmates when you get an email if they got theirs and if not let me know and I will check into it.  Technology is not my thing but I will do my best.

I want to Thank Joyce for always being there when I needed help.  We do love to go shopping!  

So Save The Date for next year, September 12th, 2026.  More info will follow.
