Roger was a nice guy. I was sorry to read that he passed away. I found the following on the internet:

Roger Alva Keeney
March 19, 1950 - Oct. 29, 2007

Roger Alva Keeney, 57, of Milo, passed away peacefully Monday, October 29, 2007 at home after a short illness.

Roger was born March 19, 1950 to Silas George and Eureta (Adams Barr) Keeney, Jr. in Indianola and graduated from Indianola High School in 1969. Roger has resided in Milo for the past 37 years. He worked at Eagle Iron Works for the last 22 years where he had various duties and was a forklift operator in the grinding room. Roger was best known not only for his caring nature and willingness to help others, but also for his sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Carol (Brooks) Keeney of Milo; children, Terry Keeney of Indianola, Daniel (Tonya) Keeney of Colfax, Ia, Brandy Keeney of Denison, Ia, Doug (Leola) Routh of Indianola, Trisha (Robert) Krebs of Indianola; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Carolyn (Barr) and Larry Putz of Newton; Larry and Glenda Barr, Ann Marie (Keeney) and Steve Githens and David Keeney all of Indianola; Janice (Keeney) and John Degner of Lincoln, NE; and Lyle Keeney of South St. Paul, MN; in-laws, James and Mary Jo Brooks of Knoxville. Preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Bobbi Keeney.
