Mary Jo was a very good friend of mine in junior high. Shared many laughs and shenanigans. I even caught up with her later in life while she was working at the Clark Co. Courthouse. RIP Mary Jo.
I remember May Jo as a very special friend when we were in grade school. On May Day of one year, while still in grade school, I wanted to deliver a May basket to Mary Jo. I was very nervous about the deliver to the front door since I knew her dad was an Iowa Highway Patrolman and I was affraid he would be at the door and not Mary Jo. It all turned out okay but I've forgot Mary Jo and that May Day delivery. RIP Mary Jo
I moved back to Indianola in 2003 and I've been back on N B st ever since. I've done a lot of dog walking in this area during all these years. And every time I walk by a classmate's house I automatically think of them every single time. I've spent some extra time thinking of Mary Jo as I pass her house 😢RIP Mary Jo
