Leon W. Pauls, 60, died Friday, June 17, 2005, at his home in McPherson. He was a retired Social Sciences teacher at McPherson High School (27 years), had worked part time for the McPherson City Street Dept., and was currently employed by MCDS as a Day Service Coordinator.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, June 20, at the McPherson Free Methodist Church. Internment will take place at McPherson Cemetery prior to the memorial service. Visitation with family will be from 2:00 to 5:00 PM on Sunday at Stockham Family Funeral Home.

Survivors include: wife, Gladys of the home; a son, Russell of McPherson, a daughter, Susan Howard of McPherson; a brother, Charles Pauls of Lawrence, KS; a sister, Kathryn Penner of Newton, KS, step-father, Wilbur Schmidt of Hesston, KS; and three grandchildren.

Memorial Donations may be given to the Free Methodist Church Music Department or McPherson County Relay for Life, in lieu of flowers.
