I just wanted to say thank you to Justin, Gwenn, Gretchen, and each and every person who took time out of there lives to make the reunion so memorable.

Furthermore, I want to share something from my heart.
I personally struggled with going to the reunion in Inola. Since, my mother died just recently (Sandra Clifton, May 2008)at our family home in Inola. Coming back to Inola has brought great sorrow. I choked back the tears as I drove to the school and I almost turned around midway and went back home. I just wanted to say thank you for the time we shared and the laughter was great comfort, which brought healing for me in a time of deep sadness in my life.

Toni-I will keep you, your family, and all the men and women who fight for our freedom in my prayers.

Remember tell someone everyday how much you love them.

Jodi-I'm glad you came to the reunion, is was good to visit with you, hang in there, it does get better! Your Mom will truly be missed, she was a great person! Take one day at a time, sometimes one moment at a time and just breathe. It's ok to be just as you are. Take care-

Thanks for the great time everyone!!! Kerri and I had an excellent time in Inola. I really enjoyed seeing everyone. You guys are the best. Most of my fond memories from youth are with ya'll. Too bad Tony A. is a stuck up snob that thinks he is too good for Inola. He is really missing on an awesome group of great people. I MISS INOLA!!

If any of you make it in to DFW area feel free to call me or e-mail and we can arrange something like lunch/dinner or whatever.

I too will offer my thanks to Justin and Gretchen and the entire gang for putting on a great event! Even though my bumb of a husband sat on the couch all night I still had a great time with all of you and enjoyed the evening very much. I don't see why we should wait another 5 years to get together. We should have an annual picnic or something??? If anyone has any ideas let us know, I'm sure you will get a few of us to attend.
Thanks again for everything and best wishes to Billy and Lana in their upcoming nuptuals!

Getting together more often sounds great. One thing I have learned from planning the Hallum Reunion is to make it for the same weekend every year. We have ours the third Saturday in September. That way, everyone knows when it is. Sometimes people can come and sometimes they can't, but it never sneaks up on anyone.

Hello everyone, I am sorry that I didn't come to the reunion and just dropped off here for sometime now but I wanted to tell everyone something good for a change. This past Monday I got the approval papers for my Rufai to come to this country!!!!! He just has to go home to Ghana first and then he can come here pretty soon, maybe just one more month, thanks to God for that and for all that have kept me in their prayers and thoughts, thank you so much for that. I hope everyone is well and will forgive me for not going, that means you Kristy, lol, please:) And I want to say God Bless Toni and all the other brave men and women who risk all for us and our great country because if they didn't Rufai and I couldn't have a future.
