My best memories of Robin are from sixth grade. He Tony Childers, James Perry, Mike Shaver and I played played pickup sticks every morning before Miss. Wise began class. Robin and I also got sent to "The Office" for using the window as a short cut to the other sixth grade classroom. Many a morning we would jump out the window or into the window instead of using the mundane door. I think someone squealed on us but, I don't remember who.
Robin was such a sweetheart. I don't think he had a mean bone in his body. My best memory is hanging with him on grad night and riding the people mover.
His passing was such a shock, we had reconnected by email a few months before. He'll be missed at the reunion.
During high school I talked to Robin a few times. As stated, we al kind of nodded here or there at some time during our high school years. When I got out of the military in 1995 I moved to Melrose. Since Robin lived there we got to know each other well. We played a lot of pool and Robin loved to play darts. He was very competitive at it, yet very good at it too. We had a lot of fun also doing the BBQ thing and whaffing down a few beers to boot. After moving I would return to Melrose and occasionally run into Robin out and about. He was a good person, a nice person, and someone fun to hang with. I saw him a few months before his passing and he was still that same person. Robin shall be missed for sure.
Robin and I were really good friends from 7th grade on. I have many good memories of him in high school, too many to relate. I attended the funeral in Melrose, it was very sad. I hate that he won't be there in September.

Sad news. I didn't know Robin well, but in a class our size, you sorta knew everyone - even if it was just a nod or something.Does anyone know what happened to him?

Only that he died at home and was found by his long time girlfriend a couple of weeks before Christmas. Yes very sad.Lynette Lanier (Ryan)
Oh my gosh, I didn't know this either. That's very sad. My, you just never know about life.Rick Stevenson
