- Married my beautiful wife Claire in 2001
- Welcomed little Henry to the world in Dec 2007
- I've backpacked/hiked in the following National Parks: Mt Rainier, Grand Canyon (to the bottom and back), Zion, Bryce, Joshua Tree, Smokey's, Yosemite, Sequoia-Kings Canyon, Mt St. Helen's, and Olympic National park
- I've traveled to following countries: Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, Paris, and Athens, Greece
- I'm still playing soccer, but my body is not happy about it
- I moved to Winston-Salem in 1997 from Columbia and moved to Atlanta in 1999
