Brian Anthony McKee, 38, died Saturday, January 3, 2009 at his residence. Mr. McKee was born in Clinton, South Carolina, a son of James D. McKee III and Shirley McKee. He was a Pi Kappa Alpha at Winthrop University in Rock Hill. Mr. McKee was also a member of Methodist Faith Church. Survivors include his parents, James and Shirley McKee of Myrtle Beach; a son, Anthony McKee and his mother, Stephanie, of Spartanburg; a brother, Duffie Mckee and his wife, Cynthia, of Burlington, N.C.; a niece, Mattie Ann McKee; a nephew, Andrew McKee of Burlington, N.C.; and a grandmother, Polly McKee Parker of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.D. McKee, Wilton B. Timmons and Shirley A. Timmons. A graveside service was held 2 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton.
