The early morning rain gave way to cloudy skies by the start of racing and the sun was shining brightly before it was over. Prior to lunch the winds were light but they picked up in their usual unpredictable fashion after that.

Congratulations to Pete, Erwin and Chris for their first, second and third place finishes, respectively for the day. Results for the entire field are shown below:

Thanks to Don Frakes for conducting the event and e-mailing the results to me so I could get the information posted early in the week.

The wind was howling at times with our usual wind shifts.  The Race Director was Mike Clayton with the assistance of Don Frakes.  Kudos to Mike for stepping up and volunteering to run a very smooth regatta.  We encourage everyone in the club to get more involved in running regattas.

Congratulations to Pete, Shoe and Erwin for their first, second and third place finishes, respectively for the day. Results for the entire field are shown below:

Nine skippers competed in today's points race. The wind went from almost dead calm to very spirited over the course of the day. Some conquered the conditions and some didn't. Congratulations to Pete, Shoe and Erwin for their first, second and third place finishes, respectively. Results for the entire fleet are shown below:

A photo is posted of a condition I've never seen before. The wind was almost non-existent during the first race and the fleet stayed fairly tightly bunched. Have you ever before seen such a tight grouping at the mid point of a race?

Thanks to Don Frakes for conducting today's event.

Ten skippers took to the water for what turned out to be just an ok day breeze wise. Sometimes the wind blew sometimes it didn't. We were, however, able to get in the full 12 races in a reasonable time. Bragging rights for the day go to Pete Kruse, Shoe and Rod Swift for their first, second and third place finishes. Results for the entire field are shown below:

Today was the final MM points race for the 2011 season. Those skippers having the best 30 races are Pete Kruse who took first place, Shoe who took second and Erwin deRoggenbuke who took third. Congratulations to our series winners.
