Ronald "Doc" Dwayne Allen, 57, passed away Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, after an extended illness. Ronald was born Oct. 15, 1952, in Dallas. He was a proud former Marine. Ronald retired in 2007 after 20 years at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. He was an avid golfer, bowler and very interested in his family's genealogy. Survivors: Mother, Vinta Cox; father, Bert Allen; sisters, Brenda Paris and husband, Charles, and Paula Allen; and numerous cousins and extended family.

Johna Hamilton (Bradley)
I was devistated when I found out Ron was gone. We went though Bowie and Irving band together. He also played his saxaphone in the Marine Corps Band. He had a great party, when he came home from the Phillipines. It brought alot of people together again. Great fun.
