Born November 16, 1952 in Dallas, TX and passed peacefully on December 19, 2014. Rick was a lifelong salesman in the circuit board business, he loved meeting and talking to people and truly enjoyed the company of those around him. He had a knack for making people smile and laugh while telling stories and “lies.” He had a passion for music, sports, gardening, nature and wildlife, as well as a love-hate relationship with the game of golf. He had a big heart and loved to help others. He loved his family and friends with every ounce of his being. Three of his favorite things in life were his truck, a good plate of Mexican food and a cold margarita. When he passed, he did so with a full heart and the love of his family and friends. Rick touched the lives of everyone around him and will be dearly missed and never forgotten. I remember when Rick was cheerleader our senior year, he was so funny and really seemed to enjoy what he was doing. I really didn't get to know Rick in high school, we had a few classes together. May he rest in peace.

I so much enjoyed seeing him at the last reunion I went to. He seemed to have a thoughtful and appreciative out look on life that was inclusive and peaceful.

I have not been in touch since high school, I knew Ric from Otis Brown Elementry, I went to Bowie Jr. High, he to Crockett, then saw him again at Irving High and he had changed so much, we ran with different groups in high school, but I remember what a great person he was and how much he had grown and changed from our younger days....wish I had kept in touch....peace be with Ric
