Patsy and I met when I first moved to Irving in the 8th grade at church along with Deanne Oden Weger.   We remained friends until her death.  Patsy never married, but had a fulfilled life by getting involved in her nieces and nephews lives.  She went to their ballgames, dance recitals, etc.

She worked for Mary Kay Cosmetics in the travel department and traveled all over the world taking many of their employees on trips.  She traveled to places such as Australia, Hong Kong, China, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, England, Ireland to just name a few.

She was diagnosed with ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease and really had a hard time accepting the diagnosis.  But as one of her close friends, Deanne and I stood by her until the very end.  We had been with her every night for 3 weeks before her death and only had left about 3 hours before her death.

She will be missed and I'm sorry she can't be a part of our 40th Reunion, but I know she'll be "watching" us.

Patsy we love you and will miss you, til we meet again.
