Glenda Lou Plouff

Glenda Lou Plouff, 68, of Irving, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021, after a difficult battle with Lung Cancer.

She was born on July 27, 1952, in Mexia, Texas the daughter of John and Alma Terry. Her parents preceded her in death.

Glenda grew up in Irving, Texas and was a graduate of Irving High School.  After graduation, she landed a job as a Payroll Administrator, which started a thirty-year career in Payroll.

Her family meant more to her than anything in the world.

She loved gardening. She loved her Elvis. She really enjoyed going to Graceland at Christmas time. Glenda was a strong, loving and giving daughter, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. We will miss her greatly.
Glenda is survived by her children, Jason Pitts, and Brandy Hernandez; grandchildren, Kristy Pitts, Jessica Hernandez, D.J. Hernandez, Jeffrey Pitts, Jamie Pitts, and her sunshine, Julia Hernandez; great- grandchildren, Nicole, Zoe, Natalie, Emma, Eddie, and Alison Lou who was named after her. Brother, Alford Terry and wife Becky; nephews, Joel, Derek, and Bryan Terry; among numerous other family and friends.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at 1:00 pm in the Chism-Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
