Jack Gault was my first neighborhood friend. He lived 2 doors down and we were inseperable buddies. Kick the can, tag, chase and endless other games of our own invention were the order of the day long before we had to go to school.
We learned to ride bikes together. I vividly remeber the day we were riding out of his driveway together, I was on the left and he was on the right. I thought we were turning right on the street and he thought we were turning left. After the collison we both came up sputtering and accusing, had our daily fist fight and both went home mad. The next day, we were back together, thick as theives.
