Gary was a good friend of mine during and after high school. He attended Richland College with me for two semesters studying music theory. We stayed in contact for many years with the main context of our friendship and discussion being music-related.
The last time I saw Gary was when I met him at the Schmirnoff Amphitheater in Dallas to see a YES concert..............this would have been around 1999 or 2000.
After many years of struggle, Gary's mental illness finally consumed him into suicide in 2011.
