Sherrill Kay Graham "Sherri" Campbell

Sherrill "Sherri" Kay Graham Campbell was born Dec. 3, 1952, in Center and passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Oct. 22, 2011, at her home in Fort Wayne, Ind. Sherri was 58 at the time of her home-going. She was born into the home for Frank and Wilma Graham and grew up in a loving family that included her brother, Dick and her sister, Brenda.

As a child, Sherri's family lived in East Texas, San Antonio and Irving. Sherri came to know Jesus as her personal Savior as a teenager and developed lifelong friendships in the youth group at MacArthur Baptist Church in Irving. She graduated from MacArthur High School in Irving in 1972.

As a young adult, Sherri developed a career in commercial real estate and established a cleaning service business as well. During those years Sherri met the love of her life, Bill, and on Aug. 29, 1986, they were married. Their "Brady Bunch" family included Christy, Jeremy, Jonathan and Cecily. Their journey together included a stint as business owners, single adult ministry leaders and pastoral assignments at Calvary Church, Irving, First Assembly of God, Fort Myers, Fla., and as the founders of Life Bridge Church, Fort Wayne, Ind.

Sherri is survived by her husband, Bill; children, Christina (Bill) Balding of Arlington, Jeremy (Dora) Hart of Euless, Jonathan (Brandy) Hart of Fort Myers, Fla., and Cecily (Aaron) Jackson of Fort Wayne, Ind.; her parents, Frank and Wilma Graham of Pittsburg; brother, Dick (Ruthie) Graham of Pittsburg; sister, Brenda (Andrew) Reynolds of Bullard; 14 grandchildren; loving cousins, nieces and nephews; as well as many friends.

Sherri never met a stranger and truly impacted the lives of all she met. She passionately loved Jesus and wanted everyone to know and love Him too!

Service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Green Acres Baptist Church, with calling one hour prior.

The family wishes to express deepest gratitude for the many kind words, prayers and loving support during these challenging days.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Life Bridge Missions Fund at Life Bridge Church, 12719 Corbin Road, Fort Wayne, Ind., 46845.
