The Bible says, to have friends we must be friendly   And Friendship is a part of Cathy Kemmerly

A lady with a variety of talents and skills   Making her a lady above the “run of the mill”

An alumnus of Lubbock Christian School   And a degree from Harding’s nursing pool

Then using her learning to benefit all ages   Without regard for “top wages”

A devoted daughter to a special mother   Giving time and money to many others

A registered nurse, serving is her life’s goal   She wins the praise of others she knows

A cheerful friend who enjoys a good laugh   Winning a hearty invitation: “Do come back!”

A devoted Servant in the Lord’s Church   Using her talents and joys in Youth Work

An efficient Counselor at Camp Goddard   Serving as Life Guard for fun in the water

Using her own learning as a Girl Scout   That others may learn what life is about

Her talent is seen in the world of Business   And in this too she has been a success

Skilled in the “Age of the Computer”   Showing confidence about life in the future

So we pay tribute and honor to a special woman   Who is worthy of a “Special Bonus”

Of her we know the Lord is fully aware   And she can be assured of His special care
