Anne was my best friend in high school, and we were roommates at Wesleyan College for one year before my marriage to Jimmy in 1971. She would get annoyed at me for coming in late from a date with Jimmy, and my shower things would be sitting in the hall outside our door! Almost everyone knew that she was a great artist, but when she got to Wesleyan she discovered a love for the theater and she made many friends in the drama department, as well as the art department. At the last Wesleyan reunion, I had the sad job of breaking the news of her death a few years ago...Everyone in the room gasped, and it was obvious that she had many friends. We grew apart after we graduated from college, and I guess the last time I saw her was at our 10th high school reunion.
