Moore, Walter E., Jr. Traverse City, MI formerly-Essexville, MI Walter Erwin Moore, Jr., born in Binghamton, NY on June 3, 1941 passed away peacefully on Sunday morning January 19, 2020 at his home in Traverse City, MI after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Walt was raised in Jackson, MI, where he met the love of his life Joyce Mading in high school, before winning her over soon after. Upon graduating from Michigan State University, they moved to Essexville, MI building a new home, with the help of his brother Dr. Allen Moore.
Walt is survived by his loving wife of fifty-six years Joyce and his children Bruce (Nanci), Todd (Sue) and Suzanne Kaberle (Jake). His precious grandchildren Alexis, Jack, Abigail, Katherine, Kendall and Keagan along brother/sister in laws, nieces and nephews from both families. He is preceded by his parents Walter, Sr. and Caroline Moore, brothers James and Allen Moore
