Shirley Jean Denig, age 72, of Columbus, peacefully passed away on December 3, 2013. She was born to the late Eugene Allen and Mildred (Duncan) on December 4, 1940 in Detroit, MI. Shirley attended Bob Jones University. She was a long time member of Grace Brethren Church. She enjoyed singing church hymns and sharing her faith with others. She also loved spending time with her family and caring for animals. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Robert Denig, step-father Willie Randolph, and step-mother Juanita Allen. She is survived by her loving children, Jeff (Sherry) Denig and Jody (Tim) Ford; grandsons, Nathan Ford, John Ryan Denig, and Dylan Ford.
