The Lord saw fit to shower Joe Mack and Mary Dennis with joy on August 27, 1971, at 6:03 p.m. by blessing them with their third daughter, Danette Michele, in Jackson, Hinds County, Mississippi.

Danette was born into the church.  She was a faithful member of Zion Chapel Church of God in Christ from her homecoming to her homegoing.  Her church involvement included: Sunday School, where she always had something to say; Vacation Bible School, Bible Band, YPWW, Choir, other services and activities.  Danette lived and believed in the scripture, "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord."

Danè was loved and adored by everyone she came in contact with.  Her friendly smile and cheerful spirit were avenues to lasting friendships.  Danette's education began at Woodville Heights Elementary School, and was futhered at Siwell Junior High and Forest Hill High School were she graduated in 1989.

Danette was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Randy O'Neil Williams, Sr. on August 16, 1989.

Danè's loving memories will be cherished by her husband, Randy O'Neil; daughters, Kasey Jannes' Dennis, Danielle NeShaè and Brandye Elizabeth Arianna; sons, MacKinzie O'Neil and Randy O'Neil, Jr.; parents, Joe Mack and Mary Elizabeth Dennis; sisters, Debra Sims (Walter), Jackson, MS and Stephanie Yarbrough (James), Compton, CA; step-grandmother, Mrs. Lee Dora Ewing, Clinton; brothers-in-law, Prentiss Williams (Alberta), Atlanta, GA, David Williams, Jackson; two sisters-in-law, Connie Williams and Jacqueline Holmes both of Jackson, MS; Godparents, Superintendent and Mrs. Earnest J. Johnson, Bolton, MS; Godsister, Mary B. Williams (Theodore), Clinton; Godbrothers, Earnest Michael Johnson (Brenda), Bolton; and David Johnson (Doris), Jackson; a neice, Kourtney Yarbrough, Compton, CA; nephews, Derrick and Keith Sims both of Jackson; and Kristopher Yarbrough, Compton, CA; a devoted cousin, Fyralance Johnson, Clinton, a host of neices, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.
