I graduated from Ole Miss in 2002 with a degree in English. I finished a year of grad school in journalism at Ole Miss, then moved to New York City with Meredith Mann. There, I worked as an editor and writer for a commercial real estate magazine. I missed home, though, and moved back to Jackson where I took a job in Public Relations at Mississippi State Hospital (Whitfield). And now I'm in nursing school at UMC. I have one year left and hope to work in oncology when I graduate.
