HAROLD GASKINS, 59, of Memphis, died peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a loving husband and a wonderful father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Betty Gaskins; daughter, Denice Gaskins; and son, Chris and his wife, Bobbie Gaskins, all of Memphis. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Aiden and Arabella Gaskins. He also leaves his mother, Bernice Gaskins of Jackson, TN, now living in Memphis, and his brother, Jeff and his wife, Linda Gaskins of Burgess, VA. He will also be missed by his three nephews, Frank, Casey, and Joey Gaskins and a large extended family. His legacy of integrity, unity, and selflessness will be with us forever. His family is comforted in knowing that he is with our Savior. Harold touched many lives in this world and he will be fondly remembered. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 3 at Memphis Funeral Home located at 3700 N. Germantown Parkway. We will celebrate his life at services held at Bartlett United Methodist Church on Thursday, December 4 at noon. Everyone is welcome to share their memories as we honor him.
