Services for Randall Phifer Smith, 35, will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday at George A. Smith and Sons’ Main Street Chapel with the Rev. Jim Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Camden’s Chalk Hill Cemetery.

 

  Mr.. Smith, a certified public accountant, died Sunday night (15 Jul 1984) at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital apparently after suffering a heart attack.

 

  He was a native of Benton County, but had lived most of his life in Madison County.

 

  Mr.. Smith was a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, a member of First Methodist Church, member and past president of the West Tennessee Chapter of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, member of the Tennessee and American Societies of Certified Public Accountants, and belonged to the West Tennessee Chapter of the National Association of Accountants.

 

  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Betsy T. Smith; his mother, Mrs. Mary Alma Smith of New Johnsonville; a brother, Jerry T. Smith of Jackson; and two sisters, Mrs. Patricia Goodman and Mrs. Sue Carter, both of New Johnsonville.

 

  Pallbearers will be Steve Holland, Richard Jacobs, Michael Zegler, Bruce Burch, Andrew Agnew and Joe Kezer.

 

  The family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
