Never say never. I once heard this from an older sibling, but didn't pay much attention to it...until it happened. After staying in Jax through college, I went to work for WJXX ABC25 as a Director and technical Director for the news. Long story short, they merged with Channel 12 and became First Coast News. I was going to move to Indianapolis with my wife to take a position at a station there. A few weeks out, my Dad tells me he wants to retire from the dry cleaning business our family had been in since 1958. I couldn't imagine coming home, and not being able to walk into the shop I had been raised in. Two days later, my wife and I were in the dry cleaning business. I was now the 3rd generation in this business. In the ten years we have been in it, we have grown from the one store in Jax Beach, to 5 stores throughout the Beach. I swore I'd never get into the Family business, but here I am and I love it. I get to watch my two beautiful little girls grow up at the beach, where I have so many great memories. I work along side my Best Friend and wife Angie. But, that's what I get for being 18 years old, and saying "Not me, never..."
