Frances Bryson Esche, 90, passed away April 27, 2003. Mrs. Esche was born February 15, 1913, in Jacksonville, to Frank E. Bryson and Alice Meeker Bryson. She was a graduate of Landon High School in 1930 and Florida Womens University in Tallahassee, Florida in 1934. She taught in the Duval County school system until her retirement in 1973. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, August V.H. Esche, in February 2001. Survivors include her son, Victor Esche and his wife Ruthella, San Angelo, Texas, her daughter Alice Russell and her husband Randy, Dallas, Texas, her son, Bryson Esche, Jacksonville, Florida, four beloved grandchildren, Mark Esche, Austin, Texas, Steven Esche and his wife Dawn, Austin, Texas, Barry Russell, Dallas, Texas and Emily Russell, Dallas, Texas, her goddaughter, Carol Ann Berry, Jacksonville, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday at NAUGLE FUNERAL HOME. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2003 at 11:00 AM in Oaklawn Cemetery.
