Frances J. Hobbs passed away peacefully December 21, 2014. She was born on September 8, 1951 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Her lifelong home was in Jacksonville, Florida where she is loved and remembered by many as the fun-loving Aunt CeCe . She leaves a legacy of smiles, laughs and generosity, as she never met a stranger and would drop everything to help anyone. She was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Molly Hobbs and brother Carlos M. Hobbs. She is survived by sisters Ginny (Tim) Davis and Cathy (Roy) Taylor and many nieces and nephews. She adored being a great-aunt to Autumn, Brayden and Brittany. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Funeral services will be held at three o clock in the afternoon on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at The Oaklawn Chapel. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jacksonville Humane Society. HARDAGE-GIDDENS, THE OAKLAWN CHAPEL, 4801 San Jose Boulevard is serving the family.
