Wayne Rubin Losco, beloved husband, daddy, grandpa, gr.grandpa, uncle, and friend passed away Wednesday March 18, 2020. He was surrounded by his family and friends. Wayne was 69 years old. He was born in Jacksonville FL on November 17,1950. He lived most of his life in th Mandarin community. He attended and graduated from Wolfson High School in 1969. He was known to drive his 1969 black mustang and played in a local band named The Naturals and Soul. Bands were a fierce competition then and the band he was in playing guitar placed third in the Battle of the Bands downtown in 1969. He was a jokster and considered by all his friends as one of Mandarin's finest "rednecks"! This was an endearing term back in the early 70's and 80's for all who knew him. He attended St. Josephs Catholic school and church in his early life. He enjoyed playing guitar with his brother David and taught both his sons to play. He loved the Beatles and sang and played their music on the family piano. He as a meat cutter for Winn Dixie for many years. In the last twenty years he enjoyed going to the flea market as a vendor and selling his goods to the folks there. He helped many people along the way while doing this. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Helen Losco, brothers Wallace and Benny, and only sister Francis.Wayne is survived by his wife Bobbie of 39years. He is survived by four children, Laurie (Bobby) Harvey, Carey Losco Wynne, Rocky Losco, and Samuel (Joy) Losco. Two brothers David (Yvonne) and Mike Losco. Six grandchildren Corey, Jared, Charley, Gene, Kailey, and Sky. He has many nieces and nephews who loved him very much. The family will gather at St Joseph's Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Due to recent circumstances our nation is facing,only family members will be at the gravesite. Friends may sign the guestbook at Eternity Funeral Home and the family requests any donation in lieu of flowers be given to Heartland Hospice who lovingly cared for him in these last ten months.
