So sorry to hear about Alex Pulido. I actually remember when he first came over from Cuba and I was at San Jose Elementary. A bunch of us use to go the Lakewood Shopping Center and ride the rides when the carnival came and Alex and his friend Willie had just come into the country. He was always a very nice boy. Later on he actually became my grandmothers doctor in San Jose and she spoke of him very highly as a physician. Sorry to his family for their loss.

R.I.P. Alex, he was always friendly, which would translate into a good 'bedside manner' for a doctor. Willie was Willie Calavino, he was in my class @ San Jose #83. I wonder whatever became of him. Does anyone else remember Senora Kannwischer trying to teach us Spanish via educational television on Channel 7 when it was brand new?

Alex was always a great guy. I don't think I ever saw him not help someone or have anything bad to say when we were in school. Seems he had a great Life and a great family Sorry for there loss. I'm sure he will be missed.

So sorry to hear about Alex. As already said, he was such a kind and friendly guy. Pat Hinely, I remember those Spanish lessons. In fact, I can still sing part of the song we performed at the PBS broadcast station. Very exciting for us kids.
