With great sadness, I hate to report well-loved family man and fantastic Orthopedic Surgeon lost his battle with cancer.
We were very fortunate to have him at one of the reunion lunches while receiving treatment at Mayo Clinic. I was great to see he and Gwenn and he will be sorely missed by many.

This is very sad. I remember Bob Tom very well at school - he was sharp, very courteous and had a great sense of humor. I also remember him from the 2011 reunion, and I was very impressed by his reputation as a surgeon. My deepest sympathy to his family. He, and they, are in my prayers today. Harry Cole

Bob Tom was one of the great ones in our class: always kind and pleasant, with a smile for everyone, and forever sharp. I have only fond memories of him. My condolences to his family and all of his close friends.

I knew Bob Tom since we were on the school patrol in the 6th grade. He was a great church friend, high school and college friend. We have lost yet another great guy from the class. I have nothing but fond memories of time spent with him. He was a truly wonderful guy who will be missed by everyone who knew him.

I am sad to hear this Bob Tom was a friend to all & a brilliant man. He came from a great Christian family,I will always remember him coming early to church and playing the boogie woogie on the piano. Rest in peace ,prayers for your family
