OMG, does anyone have any details about Gerry? I can't believe he is gone. We were such buds in school. I'm heart broken.

Gerry died in a tragic motorcycle accident a few years ago. He was exiting 9A near Phillips hwy and lost control late one evening.

I knew Gerry all the way back to Elementary school (Merrill Road) and he lived at the other end of my street as a kid. It's things like this that make me wish I had stayed in closer contact with those I grew up with. Life is much too short.
Janet Reynolds (Madison)
I used to love watching him play soccer in 10th grade PE. He would run around the field with that blonde hair flying everywhere.
Chris Roberts
Gerry and I were very good friends for a long time, but lost touch. I had heard about his accident and death a few years later. I never knew until now, when exactly it was. Wow, it happened on my birthday. How sad and tragic a loss it is, he was a special guy. My heart goes out to his family and those who knew him, and were friends with him.

I can still see him on the beach, carrying that surfboard! He had a fun personality. I hate posting these memorials, but it's good to see everyone sharing happy memories. :)
Bev Broadwell (Macho)
All these guys gone so young. This is terribly sad.
John Shields
I got to know Gerry a little bit after we moved off Merrill Rd in 9th grade. I would ride my bicycle past his block and always check to see if he was home - He had one of those infectuous personalities that was just fun to hang around. He was a good guy, and definitely missed.
