Brenda and I dated during our junior year. She did not grow up in Arlington, she moved to Jacksonville from Tampa just before starting Parker in 78-79. I lost touch with her over the years but learned that she died on June 20, 2008 while residing back in the Tampa area. Her obituary is vague and lists no names of her next of kin or the cause of death. At the time of her death, she went by Brenda Marie Byrd.

Brenda and I were neighbor's, we used to ride to school together.  We both  went into the army several months apart, Brenda married her drill instructor after which time she left the military. While I was stationed in Germany, Brenda and her husband were shortly stationed about a hour north of me. I knew she had one son. Brenda being the scaredy cat was afraid to take the train to visit me,  so I made the treak to her and brought her back to Heidelberg.  Her first train ride from Frankfurt was VERY memorable............I'm sure she never forgot.  We had lots of laughs about it. Brenda and I lost touch for a couple of yrs, but  eventually I  found Brenda living in Tampa. She was divorced and ended up surrounded with a housefull of foster children who appeared to love her dearly.  Brenda told me then she was quiet ill with respiratory problems from a house she had previously lived in that had deadly mold in it. Once again time got away from us, we lost contact. I searched periodically over the last couple of yrs and only stumbled upon the news today,  she had passed a few yrs back.  Brenda was such a sweet gentle heart, may she rest in peace. Luv ya girl.
