Fred Charles "Freddie" Spaulding

SPAULDING Mr. Fred Charles “Freddie” Spaulding, 47, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Freddie was a native of Jax. and a member of Hollyford Baptist Church since his younger years. He graduated Trinity Christian Acadamy in 1976, being honored as one of the top 5% of his class in the state of Florida. Freddie was involved in several aspects of mentoring kids through sports programs and was a great supporter of kids and our community. He coached football at North Jax. Sports Association for 10 years, YMCA basketball & Highlands Little League baseball for several years and he also played on men's city league softball teams. Survivors include his parents: Sylvia & Fred Spaulding; his wife: Cynthia Spaulding; step-son: Michael Mazza; brother: Nathan D. (Kelly) Spaulding; sister: Theresa E. (Billy) Mock; 3 nephews: James W. “Trey” Mock III, Christopher F. “Chris” Mock & Nathan “Daniel” Spaulding, Jr.; 2 grandmothers: Mrs. Cleo Gallitano & Mrs. Marcelle Suggs; 3 uncles: Dewey (Mary) Spaulding, A.J. (Debbie) Spaulding & Bobby (Gloria) Spaulding; 3 aunts: Alma (Harry) Caldwell, Flo (Pat) Patterson & Thelma Saddler and many loving cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m (TODAY) August 5, 2005 from the North Jacksonville Chapel of PEEPLES FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES, 2220 Soutel Drive near Lem Turner Road, with Rev. David Collins & Rev. John Moody, officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Mock, Michael Mazza, Raymond Spearrin, Elba Caldwell, Donald Johnson & Andy Goethe. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Taylor, Derrold Satterwhite, Jerry Williams, Fred Richardson, Phil Hopper & Timmy Waters.
