Ronnie was a great teammate and he was our "big" man on the basketball team, since he was the tallest man on the starting 5, even though he was only 6'2". He was tough enough to rebound with guys much bigger than he was. If we were ever to be in a foxhole, Ronnie was someone you wanted to be in there with us. We all loved the souped-up old Mercury he drove, and it was always an adventure with the "Black Knight". I'm sure that he will rest in peace,because he never looked back. He was a good one..
Ronnie lived near me and when I first went to Landon and we rode the same school bus. We were young teenagers then. He was always a nice guy. So sorry to learn this.
