CRUFF Karen Lee (Anders) Cruff, 65, passed peacefully on October 7, 2010, at her daughter's home in St. Johns, FL. Karen was born in Jacksonville on October 27, 1944 to the late Herbert and Katherine Anders. She was a graduate of Robert E Lee High School (though she attended Terry Parker for over five years), and earned her BA degree at Jacksonville University and was currently pursuing her Real Estate Law Degree. Karen worked for the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller; later retired working in Sales for AT&T and after retiring from AT&T became Owner/ Broker of Bold City Reality. She was cherished in her community, by her family and friends, and anyone who had the privilege to have known her. Left behind to honor her memory is her daughter, Wendy Cruff of Saint Johns, Fl; daughter, Kim Conklin of Melbourne, FL; adopted son, Jason Anders; adopted daughter, Madison Anders; her loving brother, Randall Anders and his wife Sarah of Middleburg, FL; and her 3 grandchildren, Christian Breen, Kelsey Breen, and Laura Conklin, her cousins, her in laws and numerous others. Karen will be sorely missed and now sits in the house of God with everlasting peace. A visitation service will be held at 2:00 pm and Mass of Christian Burial following at 3:00 pm on Friday, October 15 in St. Joseph's Historic Church, 4152 Loretto Rd., Jacksonville, with Rev. Daniel Cody as Celebrant. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Karen to the Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257, or to the American Cancer Society , 1536 Kingsley Ave., Orange Park, FL.
